The figure is wearing a kind of robe falling to the knee. The waist and collar are not accentuated in any way. The original appearance of this tunic, whose painted details have now faded, is not known. The statuette is similar in size and facial features to the nude infantrymen (MC 10034 to MC 10040), but the functions of this figure in the deceased person’s household is unknown. A jester, or a foot soldier? A servant, or a herdsman?
