Reopening of Cernuschi museum

Health and safety guidelines due to COVID-19

For optimal conditions, we may limit the number of visitors allowed into the museum at a given time.

To visit the permanent collections: free access up to limits imposed by physical distancing.

Group visits are not allowed until further notice.

All visitors 11 years old and up must wear a mask at all times.

Bags larger than 45×36×20 cm are not allowed on the premises.

Smaller bags are allowed and must be carried in front of you.

Please keep a minimum of 1.5 metres away from other visitors and staff.

During your visit, please follow the route marked with arrows from 1 to 14.

Hand sanitizer is available for your use at reception. Restrooms where you may wash your hands are located at level –1 (access at bottom of the main staircase, near the introductory panel).

The museum will be open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm nonstop (ticket desks close at 5:30pm and visitors must leave the exhibition rooms by 5:45pm. 

Closed 1 January, 1 May, and 25 December.



By foot:

The entrance to Avenue Vélasquez is at 111-113, boulevard Malesherbes, 8th arrondissement. From the Parc Monceau via allée Comtesse de Ségur.

By car:

The museum is located 3 minutes from Place Saint Augustin, 8th arrondissement, 10 minutes from Place Clichy or Place Charles de Gaulle – Étoile.
Exits from the inner and outer Périphérique ring road: Porte Champerret or Porte d’Asnières.

Vélib city bike station:

The nearest bike station is located at 75, rue de Monceau, 8th arrondissement.

By metro:

Line no. 2, Villiers or Monceau stops
