This book is the first overview of contemporary Korean art in the French language. It is also the first Western publication to recount the birth and developments of contemporary Korean art since the end of the Japanese occupation. It presents the work of the greatest Korean artists of the 20th century as well as that of several up-and-coming artists of the younger generation.
