The graphic arts collection at the Cernuschi Museum, devoted mainly to the art of the 20th and 21st centuries, was formed as a result of the close ties between the museum and the artist Lee Ungno (1904-1989). Founded thanks to a donation from Ungno in the early 1980s, it was expanded over the years with works by major figures in the cultural exchanges between France and Korea. It continues to grow today with the acquisition of works by established or younger artists, representing the widest possible panorama of the history of Korean art in the last 70 years.
